Practical
- Visas
- Not required for UK, EU, US or Canadian passports for stays under 90 days.
- Flights
- Three to four hours from northern Europe. RAK, RBA, CMN, AGA and TNG all take direct flights. We hold seats but we do not sell them.
- Currency
- The dirham is a closed currency — you cannot buy it before you arrive. Every club in the catalog takes cards. Caddies do not.
- Getting around
- We use private transfers with a driver. Self-drive is legal and cheap; city traffic is the reason we do not recommend it.
- Alcohol
- Served at every clubhouse in the catalog. Not sold in most city shops, and not at all during Ramadan in some places.
- Tipping caddies
- 100 to 150 dirham a round, paid in cash at the club. Not included in any package price, and we say so in the quote.
